Doctor
Dr Dominique Darvas is an international expat doctor trained in France.
She originally specialised in emergency and acute medicine, with a first PhD in emergency blood transfusion protocols. While this built strong observational and diagnostic skills, it lacked durable outcomes. Seeking better long-term solutions, she moved on to internal medicine, focusing on the complex and long-term cases. She began working towards a deeper understanding of human physiology and finding better explanations for unexplained chronic conditions.
Improving health rather than waiting for illness to strike and treating symptoms became her goal. This led her to specialise in anti-ageing medicine in Paris, with a second PhD in mitohormesis (mitochondrial hormesis) and mimetic agents, along with additional diplomas in medical lasers and in medical micronutrition. While exploring preventive medicine, she discovered thermography, a non-invasive form of functional imaging and trained with the ACCT (American Clinical College of Thermography).
Today, she is focused on peak health and longevity, with the goal of not simply lengthening lifespan, but increasing ‘healthspan’. Because the quality of life is just as important as the length of life. She is based in Switzerland, but also consults for clinics in the US and throughout Europe and the UK.
Her mission is to tailor healthy, highly functioning lifestyles to help individuals live better, for longer.
"Thermography has proved an easy, non-invasive and affordable source of additional information regarding physiological activity in the body and is adding valuable clinical information to many patient cases where other methods failed to provide an answer."
